What can't I put in a skip?

I've never ordered a skip before, how does it work?

It's simple! Just give us a ring, tell us what size skip you need, (if you're not really sure we will be more than happy to advise you), and we'll give you a price; tell us your address details and when you'd like the skip to be delivered and we'll do the rest! To have your skip collected, you can either tell us when you book the skip or if you're not sure when you'll be finished with it just give us another ring when you're ready and we will pick it up as soon as we can, (usually the next working day)

What does the price of hiring a skip include?

The price of hiring a skip from Bargewell Skip Hire includes delivery, collection, disposal and hire for up to 14 days, (all prices quoted are including vat)

I do not have room for the skip on my drive, can it be put on the road?

Yes it can, although a special licence from the council is needed, but don't worry, we will make all the neccessary arrangements for you - please let us know at least 2 days in advance if you wish to do this.

I do not have room for a skip, but I do not want to pay for a council licence either, can you help?

Yes, we operate a 'wait and load' service where the driver will wait whilst you load your skip - 15 minutes of waiting time is included in the price of your skip free of charge!

Do I have to wait in for the skip?

We do prefer payment on delivery of the skip but should that not be possible then we will collect the payment when we come to collect the skip, or, alternativley if you're paying by cheque - made payable to 'Bargewell Skip Hire' - then feel free to pop it in the post to us at:

How quickly can a skip be delivered?

Sometimes the same day but if not, certainly the next day!

How can I be sure that you dispose of my waste responsibly and not like some of these 'rogue traders' that you see on documentaries?

We are fully registered waste carriers by the Environment Agency - registration number AEA/792231 - and have the correct documentation should it be required

Can you dispose of 'special wastes'?
